Very modern building, lots of amenities. Open late. Fastest wait time of any urgent care around here, in my experience.

my experience with the Drs assistant, the support staff, and the pharmacy was all very positive. My experience with valley Medical in general hasn't been all that great, there have been a lot of delays, disorganization, and poor communication. This was a refreshing change.

Arrival time til getting my meds was under 2 hours, pharmacy is in the same building.

Right next to a busy bus stop.

There's a number of good and bad thing's I could say. Scheduling appointments for just about any department are just scheduled too far out, especially when you are fighting a long term ailment that should be attended to in a timely manner knowing that sooner appointments would have cleared up the ailment that you went to that department in the first place. It's important when a patient is in so much pain and has to wait, 3mo. average, to have a follow up or a next visit.
The good thing is that the doctors are great, the nurses are wonderful, and doctor's bedside manner mean so much to me.
The pharmacy is a disaster the wait average for a simple med. is 45min. the lines are always long and slow, there under staffed, and the tech's can be very snippy at times due in part to the stress of being short handed. Go to the drive through Walgreen's on San Carlos at Meridian.
The E.R. is a typical busy (at certain times) County run hospital. Average wait on weekend's is over 5hours entrance to exit. Call ahead to check on the wait.
The good thing is that this hospital is a trauma hospital so sometimes you get an ER doc that truly listens especially right before they are about finished from a long tiresome shift or when it's shift change.

For Downtown residents their urgent care is convenient versus walking in at the doctors office. I have had the best experience here compared to the other Valley Health Centers and even compared to Valley Medical Center.

The front desk officers are usually helpful and nice. Makes me feel safe in the area. Medical staffs are very nice and helpful unlock other valley medical center. The place looks clean. Service seems to be a lot faster than their main hospital. They offer urgent care, lab and a pharmacy.

Wonderful new facility and it makes lab work and prescription pickup so much more convenient than having to go all the way to VMC on Bascom. Urgent care is also here along with my pain management doctor.
