The best MD we have found. We're snowbirds from Michigan but look forward to getting our medical questions answered in Sanibel. Staff is great; Dr Dunavant is straight-forward, clear, and caring. We appreciate his intelligence--and the way he treats us as intelligent too!

Shouldn't advertise as urgent care if you're a general practitioner. They "only slide urgent care patients in between patients". Lame. They sent us off The island, saying it was only 3 miles when it was more like 15 and 45 minutes with traffic. The one star was for the referall to a real urgent care.

AWESOME STAFF! Will use this office from now on when we visit Sanibel! Office staff was great! Receptionist got us in quickly! Dr. Dunavant quickly diagnosed my 7 year old son and prescribed him a good antibiotic to get him back to vacation and keep the rest of the family well. Highly recommended!

During our vacation on Sanibel Island we visited the urgent care facility within the Dunavant Medical group when our son was feeling ill. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. We were taken back without waiting more than 5 minutes. The nurse that worked with us first had a wonderful bedside manner with our son and made him feel at ease in the unfamiliar surroundings. They worked quickly and had him diagnosed with strep throat within minutes. When Dr. Scott Dunavant came in shortly after to discuss treatment he was phenomenal with our son. He talked candidly with our son and with mom and dad. We were thoroughly impressed with how the practice was run and the fantastic and outgoing care they provided to our family.
