The place looks ok for a small place. We went and it was almost empty. I felt rushed to order. I expected a bit more of a fancy presentation. It felt i was eating at a school with a tray. Small portions. I found a really long hair you can see it on the other photo next to the round plate. I lost a bit of appetite after finding that hair. Nice friendly people. I had to eat to another place after that i was still hungry. An okay place but i like a similar place in montecito called china palace

Very Chinese restaurant. The manager is considerate man with stories.. almost go there every 3 days.

Chinese cuisine with great flavor, service, and atmosphere. Regularly drive 30 minutes just to dine here

The Mango Chicken is seriously the best item on the menu and I hope that it moves from being a lunch item to being on the full menu. The Beef Cilantro is also amazing. So far, the only Chinese restaurant that I think gives Mandarin Palace a run for its money in Santa Barbara is Henry's Hunan. This place is amazing!!!!!!

Because I had to work through Christmas Eve I was unable to buy all the necessary for Christmas Day Dinner. THEN I was told we were invited to my son's girlfriend's parents for Christmas Dinner. By the time I found out HE MISUNDERSTOOD ALL the grocery stores were closed. I had nothing but side dishes, not even a chicken. We were frustrated and then thought I guess we'll eat out. We were lucky to have an amazing restaurant right down the hill from our home. We were seated within 5 minutes and the food was so great. The service was top notch and when we left the owner opened the door and graciously thanked us for eating with them. WOW. I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant in my life. THANKS Mandarin Palace for saving our Christmas and making us feel like family! We will definitely be eating at this place more often. Thanks again!
