My Mom and I went for her Birthday and absolutely love this place! We chose the Massage/facial package... the best massage ever and my face felt amazing! Felt brand new afterwards. Everyone was so gracious... it was the perfect day.

I arrived for a facial at the end of my weekend in Santa Barbara. I was also at the end of having a cold and had the sniffles. When I got to the facial room, the lady asked if I had a cold and I said yes, but it was almost over. She told me they don't work on sick people and I should not have come. After more reprimanding, she told me I could stay. I told her I could leave and I should have. I stayed, and the entire time she told me how rude it is for people with colds to be in public. I felt like I couldn't breathe for fear of contaminating her, but she wore a surgical mask and gloves during the whole thing and she put a towel over my nose and mouth to "contain my germs". She talked the ENTIRE time about sick people and their rudeness. She made me feel as if I had some incurable terminal sickness! Then she told me how "grateful" I should be to her for putting her out like this. It was not relaxing and I will NEVER go back!

My friend was also there and had a very chatty girl as well. I prefer a facial with minimal talking so I can relax. That does not happen here.

I received a gift certificate for the Ultimate Spa experience and was treated so rudely when I arrived that I left. They refused to refund the money and I refuse to let those **** touch me. I have heard from others that their services are way over rated. Oprah used to be a customer, but hey, if you are Oprah you can expect some serious butt kissing. There are so many beautiful, professional and nurturing spas in Santa Barbara, no need to waste your money in this dive.
