Had a quick lunch here. Terrific nachos. Had the gumbo special for my main course.

No one is smiling. Bad attitude; zero teamwork. ALL the staff is visibly anxious or stressed at 2pm with the restaurant at less than 25% capacity. No host(ess) present... 5min wait before even being acknowledged. Waiter seemed irritated when asked the specials. Order taking felt very rushed. Other staff seemed to be rushing around inefficiently and angry with each other. Drink refills required repeated requests. Music was nice but the seating strategy is to cluster groups of people at adjoining tables instead of maximizing available space for guest comfort. Food was not bad (although the staging of courses is apparently an unknown concept to them). The staff also seems to think custard and salad are finger foods. From a value perspective the food is certainly not good enough to overcome the unpleasant staff. 40 minutes of wasted time only to need to eat somewhere else.
