Santa Maria Pines Campground

Had a few worries when I pulled into the campground. The tent campground area is situated next to a Boomers which has go carts racing around until about 10 or 11pm. We were riding through CA on motorcycles and didn't feel like spending $200 on a motel 6 so we decided to give the place a try. The tent camping is pretty close to other campers but it ended up not being a big deal. $30 for two people and it includes hot showers and clean bathrooms. Javier is the manager and we gave him a call for the $5 bundle of wood deal. There is a road that runs past the campground as it's in the middle of Santa Maria but the road noise died down around midnight. Good place to pitch a tent and grab some sleep, I wouldn't make a day of it and wouldn't recommend bringing kids to this place as there's not much room to roam.

Nice small camping place close to the city center. Both manager were very friendly and gave us good tips for our trips during the day in those area. The fire basket close to the tent is included in the fair price and was prepared for us

Well for one the white lady that runs it shouldnt be running the s.m pines campground. Because shes two faced not to mention prejudice against Hispanics and her boyfriend Javier is Hispanic!! and we had an awful experience with our grandkids and the people that were camping next to our son were also Hispanics she wouldnt allow them to play on the playground when another lady was there pushing her kid on the swing. She said to all the Hispanic kids they had to leave and couldnt play there. and shes was trying to charge $3.00 dollars for each kid in the pool!! Theres dogs but says there not allowed in camping area which doesn't make any sense. So what right does she have calling my husband a criminal if he is or isnt thats none of her bussiness so were going to
the city on monday to fund out who owns it and get that lady out of there she dont belong there shes very disrespectful and rude!!!!!plus shes charging $5.00 dollars a head each person after 2 people including kids too!!!!!!!!

Beware if your tenting, especially with kids!! The place has all the tents backed up to this fun zone with very loud go carts. The go carts and loud speaker go till 11:00 p.m . I would never come back to this camp site because of this. Everything els wasn't too bad. Pool, spa and showers are decent.

I went in at late afternoon. We brought our rv trailer and parked in the empty spot. There are lots of rvs com and goes. This is quiet expensive for day rate so I wouldn't stay here too long. It was fun and they had lots of tall trees that made me feel like I was in the woods.
