Sat at the bar, service was attentive and excellent...nice space for a drink or two, the menu was appealing as well. Ordered dumplings, which were very good, and lamb sliders, the big disappointment - overcooked, dry, possibly not even cooked to order, and just the slightest hint of tzatziki sauce - a good sauce would have made for better choking down of the mediocre sliders. Still, I may come back and give it another whirl next time in Savannah

I have been going to bar-food for 6 years, at least 2 times a month.
The only attitude there is being ALL INCLUSIVE. I've become very friendly with Johnny Baker, even having him and other bar food friends staying with me during Hurricane Matthew. Johnny brought food and cooked, we fed about 15 people that were "power-less".I'll defend the character of Johnny and Paula Letcher any day!

I used to live in Savannah and was a regular at Bar Food for many months. I loved it so much and the owners, Johnny and Paula were such lovely accommodating people to this Yankee from NYC, I decided to work there. Every time I visit the south, I make my way over to Bar Food. The staff is always attentive and amazing, the food delicious and the vibe resembles that of neighborhood bar that's its own community! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bar Food!

My favorite place keeps getting better. With the new remodel comes an amazing new brunch menu. I've been 3 times in the last two weekends. Love this place and the wonderfully inclusive staff and owners.
