I have only been a Suntrust customer for a couple months, but there has been some kind of hassle with literally every interaction I've had with the bank. They refer to you the 800 number. The 800 people tell you to go to a branch. The first thing the people at the branch do is call the 800 number.

They told me the checks I ordered would be free. They cost $35.95. They entered the wrong zip code for my credit card so I couldn't buy gas at a gas pump that asks for your zip code with the credit card until I either guessed how the entered it wrong or spent 20 minutes at a branch without air conditioning to get it fixed. They couldn't tell me why I didn't get a monthly statement on my checking account. This is a BANK?

I have banked with several different banks in the last few years and NONE have had this many problems with online banking as Suntrust. It's 2016. Can't they find some programmers who know how to produce an online interface that works? The latest debacle is that they won't let me redeem my "cash back" rewards because they keep telling me to log in to a web site where there is NO MENTION of the cash back rewards. I have used cash back rewards with other cards for YEARS and never had one problem. I feel like I've been tricked.
