This restaurant was recommended to my husband and I about 4 years ago when we were visiting Savannah for the first time, and we loved it!! The food was great!! The service was good. And the place was packed with customers. We went back about a year ago with our kids because we liked it so much before, and we knew the kids would enjoy it. Needless to say, we were very disappointed the second time around! All of the food seemed like artificial or frozen food!! Whereas before it was fresh and homemade. The second time, the biscuits were frozen!!! What breakfast restaurant serves frozen biscuits besides a fast food place? Homemade biscuits are so easy and cheap to make. The service was okay the second time around; however, I am pretty sure our server was also the busboy.... However, he was very nice. And to top it all off it was so expensive for frozen, artificial food. I could have gone to the grocery store and purchased a box of Jimmy Dean frozen biscuits for $5 and enjoyed them more. But we should have known when we walked into the restaurant and it was empty vs. the first time it was packed. I was so disappointed because my husband and I had such a wonderful experience and the food was excellent the first time. If they would just use fresh ingredients and make the food from scratch it would make such a difference. I really hope they can find a way to get it back to the way it was before.

I had the cheddar omelet and home fries, you can get better at Waffle House without paying $11.50. My fiance had the Crabs Benedict, it smelled extremely fishy, I made the mistake of trying it and got a piece of shell in my mouth. It may be a coincidence, but we were both sick today.

We found this cafe on a walk to the Riverfront and stopped in for breakfast. The food was very good, nice atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. We had a great experience and recommend this place to everyone.

GORDON RAMSEY, come quick!!!! Don't waste your time or money.
The pecan praline cappuccino tasted like nothing more than regular cappuccino ($4.99), the strawberry mimosa was delicious but pricey ($7.99), regular coffee nothing special ($2.50/cup), waited 45 minutes to get COLD peach french toast (forgot the powdered sugar and whipped cream), cold scrambled eggs, bacon thin as onion skins, and sausage that I wouldn't feed to my dogs. Even though I was not charged for my meal, this experience cost us $40 including tip. The waitress, Aurora, was sweet.
