My mom literally stumbled upon this sweet place today while I was checking out another establishment. Thankfully, she managed to regain her balance and a nice gentleman came out to see if she was okay. From the outside, it looks friendly and inviting with adorable bistro seating and lively planters full to the brim with foliage and flowers. It was packed inside and the atmosphere was as cheery as a Disney movie. The employees were outstanding and super friendly. My 9yo mildly autistic son was groaning for Subway when we approached the counter and the sweetest young lady was taking orders. She jumped right into action like a natural child whisperer: "We have one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in town" she said with the biggest smile and the sweetest eyes. I was smitten myself. She was the best and so attentive with him the entire time we received our order. She even requested his sandwich become a superhero and it came out with a little cape and all! The sandwiches, dessert, and tea were unbelievably delicious and absolutely filling. If I could give this little gem ten stars I would, because they certainly earned every one. Thank you all so much for a great dining experience, especially our silvery-haired Super She-ro!!

Simply amazing. Simultaneously had the best pot pie and best cheesecake of my life. Easily the best food we had while vacationing in savannah.

A small, but very charming place. You have to look hard to find it, but once you have, you will definitely be very pleased. Gourmet and good. Prices reasonable for the quality of the food served. Do not forget to get some baked goods. They are homemade and awsome. Super friendly staff.

We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The server seated us immediately and was very kind to our family and spoke directly to our toddler as to include him in our dining experience. Not something we experience often, usually servers almost completely miss that our toddler is a present part of our family. They were really methodical about their menu and were happy to customize our orders based on personal preferences. They made a sweet little clown sandwich and warmed a giant cookie for our toddler. Our soups were excellent. We ordered the hot mushroom barley and the chilled cucumber and salmon soups which came highly recommended with stories of origin included. When our soups arrived, one of the pieces of bread dropped on the floor and our server picked it up and came back with two more pieces. We've never experienced that at any other restaurant we've been to. Our sandwiches were made with a hearty portion of fresh ingredients and came with chips and fruit. The chef came to our table and introduced himself and was also very kind and interested to know who we were. He brought us samples of tomato jam, cheesecake and croissant pudding on his own accord. The sweet tea was very nice - just the right amount of sweetness and they even gave us a refill to go... along with some of that award winning lemon cheesecake. It was a great experience and we will definitely come back the next time we are in Savannah. Thank you for showing us what southern hospitality is all about.

This is such a lovely place! We stopped by Joe's for lunch when we were visiting Savannah for our honeymoon. The staff was so warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. Our server offered us a free dessert when he found out we were on our honeymoon and several members of the staff then stopped by our table to congratulate us. The entire experience was wonderful! Joe's is a great place to come to get a taste of southern charm and hospitality at it's finest.
