As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and an offer of champagne. All of the artwork there is beautiful and I love that they are all low country artists. If you want beautiful local artwork and jewelry, The Downstairs Gallery is a must.

A hidden nook of an Art Gallery. Yes, it's in the original 'servant quarters' of a classic Savannah home. Pam is an excellent hostess, warm and inviting and able to tell you about the local artists who's work is displayed throughout, including Morgan, the owner of the gallery. You'll have a tough time choosing, but that's OK as I would suggest waiting anyway until you have visited the Daedelus Gallery a few blocks away at the corner of E Liberty and Abercorn St before buying anything. You'll see why I am suggesting this after you've arrived.
