My wife and I ordered dinner via UberEats lat night. The fried okra and shrimp appetizers were exactly what we expected, good, but nothing that blew us away. My wife's Gumbo was decent, once again, met but didn't exceed expectations. 4/5

Then we have my jambalaya. Let me preface this by saying that no where on their website or menu do they say anything about food being spicy. Yes, it's a cajun place, so some is expected. So I requested a little heat to be added too my dish. I said something like: "Could you add a bit of spicyness to the dish. Something like 3.5-4 out of 5."

I enjoy spicy food. My top two favorite kinds of places are Indian and Thai. At ANY of those places I order 4/5. Sometimes I sweat through it and other times I make a mental note to up it my next visit.

What was delivered was inedible. I had a spoonfull my first bite and couldn't eat anything else for 15 minutes. I tried adding some lime juice to it. Didn't help. I tried to add plain yogurt. Didn't help. My wife, who usually gets 3/5 for Thai and Indian literally tried 4 grains of rice and had to drink a glass of water. If I would have been at the restaurant I would have sent it back. It really felt like someone in the kitchen was having a bad day and took it out on me. I threw it away. 0/5

2nd time here.... Food is great like the last time... Luckily it was slow cuz of the weather which was good for us.... Staff was awesome, very nice and cheerful....I liked the fact that they let us enjoy the food and wasn't coming to the table every 2min to see how the food was.... If it wasn't for the fact I love in Oak Harbor I would def be here more often.

Great seafood here. They sell everything by the lb and have a variety of sauces. The King's sauce is my favorite. The food comes in a bucket and you can dump it on the table or leave it in the bag. Great for sharing with others. We left happy and full.

We have been here twice in the past week. First time (on a Sunday) the food was amazing, as was the service. Today (Friday) both were disappointing:

1. Food was lacking flavor. Garlic was less than last time, neither of the 2 spicy dishes were spicy at all, butter flavor was lacking, completely unlike our first experience.

2. We told the waitress as soon as we tasted the food that something is different. She showed no interest in addressing our concerns. Later, the bill showed 20% service charge, likely because they considered my family a party of five!

Despite loving the first experience, I doubt we will come again. Gladly paid a similar bill last time, but not happy paying it again with this experience.

I don't normally go out of my way for Creole food but I saw it on Dive, Diners, and Drive Ins so I want to come and try.
It definitely hits the spot when I feel like Cajun / Creole. I loved the charbroiled oysters and the fried catfish. They were so good.
Bloody Mary is very good too.
