The people who work here are super nice and always answer with a smile. There was a slight issue with our room but the staff immediately resolved it. The rooms themselves are very clean. The water pressure in the bathrooms is great! If there is anything negative about the hotel, it's that there is an odor throughout the hotel (lobby, room, hall) but it didn't trigger my allergies so it's fine.

The Hotel Sorrento is beautiful and clean, with good service and a wonderful happy hour. That said, I did take off a star because my room is by a very noisy a/c, which sounds like an airplane engine. The hotel responded though by giving me the ear plugs I requested, and offering to send engineers to the roof to look for the problem. That said, the rest of my family has had no complaints and are greatly enjoying their rooms. There is free wifi for those who need it.

Our Corner sure was amazing. The classic decor was really beautiful and so clean. The room felt rich yet simplistic, likea room in an updated vintage mansion. Great view of the city and I'm pretty sure I got one of the best nights sleep Ive ever had. That bed was amazing. Seriously. And the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to the minute we left. This is my favorite hotel in Seattle.

The Bad:
We stayed in a junior suite on the 6th floor. The general din of the city penetrated our room like we were sleeping in the tree tops of the concrete jungle. The rooms could use better sound proofing. Being close to the hospitals generated a fair amount of emergency vehicle traffic that was very loud as well.
Our french press was used in the morning and it took 4 visits from house keeping to get us a clean one, mugs, and creamer. There was a language barrier that was very difficult to over come, especially before our coffee. It was gross to have dirty dishes in our room too.
The room got rather hot at night and it was difficult to find and adjust the thermostat.
The good: The hotel is beautiful. The room was very classy. The bed was comfortable. The location is noisy but central.
For what hotel rooms cost in Seattle, in terms of access and style, you get a lot, but again, for what hotel rooms cost in Seattle, it would have been nice to sleep soundly and have some coffee in the morning...

This is a superb hotel. The room was spacious, quiet, beautiful. The bed was wonderful as was the marble bath. Robes were provided as was ground rich coffee for the coffee press. We were spoiled by staying here in such comfort. Highly recommended. Romantic, old world atmosphere, professional and thoughtful front desk staff.
