Schmitz Preserve Park

This is the last preserve of old growth in Seattle. While I’d prefer to be the only person there, and often am, the energy and majesty of this wonderful spot shouldn’t be missed. Go to Schmitz, take a walk and reset.

A peaceful, Serene and heavily wooded free space between the North Asmiral and Alki neighborhoods. It is hilly with lots of trails for walking.

Some crazy stuff happens here. Don't go around twilight. Some guy was screaming nonsense when I was there.

Easy walk but you can definitely work up a sweat at a good pace. Such solitude and peace so close to the city. Oldest growth around the area. Little streams bridges. Beautiful large trees and birdsong.
