A nice place to take the dog and has easy access for them if they like going in water. Lots of rowers around in the morning. It can be a loud place because of the highway above.

I got a glimpse from the bridge on my way, and when I arrived, it was just that -- small and quaint, a few picnic tables a path along the shore and a massive weeping tree of sorts... Cute, but I probably won't want to go back. :)

Great point to watch the boat traffic on the Ship Canal going from Lake Union to Portage Bay. Also, you can launch a kayak or canoe from the little park - though there are rocks to watch out for.
