Excellent coffee, and the owner was very friendly and interesting to talk to. A lovely little independent coffee shop in an area that is sadly lacking in genuinely local businesses.

Beautifully cute little postage stamp! The baked goods are divine, and the paninis are ALL delicious and only $5! The hot cocoa isn't the half-a**ed stuff you get from Starbucks-it's made with real melted chocolate. Shawn himself is also wonderful!

Stumbled upon this establishment one day. Shawn is the owner, operator, and sole employee. Most of what he sells is made by him; however, everything is delicious - especially the pretzel rolls with mustard.
If you're looking for a reasonably priced place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, give him a chance.
*Only con is the amount of seating. He has two small tables inside and two small tables outside.

Shawn is very nice and clearly passionate about baking and coffee. Love the tiny, local feel. Everything was delicious, too. I got an iced mocha and the chocolate taste was so much better than just a pump syrup. The baked goods looked amazing so I got a pretzel roll on impulse and it was a fantastic decision. It's a tiny place with just him working and I was so impressed. Awesome and cute, perfect for a little local coffee stop!

I stopped in for coffee and a snack on a bike ride because I was hungry and curious. What a pleasant surprise! Shawn bakes everything that he sells and it was amazing! I will not go anywhere else on Mercer island for coffee or baked goods. He was putting out the challah bread when I showed up on Friday. That was one of the best cookies I have ever had in my life. 5/5, would eat again.
