Slightly away from downtown Seattle this hotel sits at Alaskans way. The hotel building is not tall like most of downtown hotels. It is in E shape building. Many rooms have small balconies which gives beautiful view of water and parked boats right across the road. The room is a typical one with standard Marriott amenities. The bathroom had bathtub cum shower. I stayed for 2 nights and I have to settle for 2 beds room as no king size bed room was available. There is a tiny pool (no life guards) and gym at 1st level. You need your room keys to access these. Free wifi is available only till lobby. The lobby was big and a bar right besides lift lobby. Couple of restaurants, with outdoor sittings. There is no smoking room. No complimentary breakfast or evening reception. The hotel is on the expensive side.
It is near Pike's market. You can go for run/walk on the Alaskan road footpath towards north which leads to a garden at the end. Overall you will get a peaceful stay with eye pleasing view along with typical Marriott hotel.

The food was decent. I enjoyed the meat platter with the pickled red onions. The halibut was a little over coffee but enjoyed the crispy outer skin. The kale pasta with butternut squash was pretty good.

For the price you'd expect a bit more. But Seattle hotel prices being what they are....
It's a great location down by the Pier & Cruise Ships and you can walk up to Pike Market.
Great hotel lobby bar and bartender. Probably my favourite part of staying here to be honest.

We have stayed at the Marriott Waterfront on several occasions pre-cruise. Our most recent stay was October 2017. The hotel is well appointed and clean. The restaurant is spacious and offers several options from small plates to full dinner. They offer either a served breakfast or buffet. At the present time the Alaskan Highway is under repair. Previously we walked to the Aquarium and Piers. This was still a doable option but with a far less scenic or certain path. It was worth finding a cab especially in the evening.

I loved this place!!!! A luxury feel, great food,, good room service. Friendly staff. Definitely going back. Good bar, nice store and restaurant. Pool, hot tub, and lots of extras.
