I'm a fan of the food and the cocktails. This is definitely a more pricey special occasion type of place, so I've only been a few times. As a lactose-intolerant vegetarian, I have appreciated their willingness to modify items so I can eat them. Each dish is special; I've never had anything blah here.

Let me start by saying the food was tasty and the presentation was great excellent. Unfortunately, it all goes downhill around the rest of the experience. My wife and I went here with my in-laws because they have a nice gluten free menu and a bunch of vegetarian opinions if we wanted to come back with my sister-in-law but that won't be happening. The restaurant is in an old craftsman house so be prepared to sit in tight quarters; this was fine for us until we realized we had been trapped in a corner with flies sneaking into the house. It was raining so they offered to take our coats. We should have never taken them up on this offer because they stacked the coats within each other and put them in the basement. They were not hung in a coat check to dry properly, and we had wet coats to leave in that evening 2 hours and 45 minutes later. Our servicer was more occupied with waiting on her table of friends then equally checking in on every other table in her section. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water for 3 people at the table and 1 still water. They filled the table with glasses so everyone could have both, which we didn't ask for, so this should have been a sign of things to come. After our cocktails, we asked for a wine list before our appetizers. The wine list showed up, and our order wasn't taken for 30 minutes. Our $150+ bottle of wine finally arrived while we were eating our entrees, not cool! The kitchen timing of the meal was fine, but the wait staff was way off its game. We spent $400 plus dollars on a subpar experience and will not be returning.

Service was great; our server was attentive and well informed. We tried a good portion of the menu, and she did a great job of coursing it out for us. They have a small and large option for most everything, so it's great for sharing! Everything was delicious and interesting. The gnocchi were heaven! Cocktails were delicious. Everything *is* a bit on the pricey side, but fabulous quality and wonderful atmosphere! We will definitely visit again!

Friendly/helpful servers and, most importantly, Tilth Restaurant! Everything from the quality of the mac to the fresh ingredients hit the spot for me. This was a huge pick me up and I loved my food.
I also like the brussel sprouts (got an order in an effort to get a balanced meal). Good vibes, huge quantities, tasty foods. I'll be back!
