Epic has been a great place for kids cuts for our family. The staff is super friendly, and the cuts look swell.

We went there for our little boy - 17 months - and they are awesome. They have plenty of toys to make sure kids are occupied and the haircut was great!

I really didn't care for this salon. I used my Living Social coupon to get a Brazilian and a facial. I waited from about a half an hour past my appointment start time because the aesthetician was still in with another customer. The facial was nice and relaxing, a standard facial. The Brazilian was not so relaxing though. I have been getting Brazilians regularly for years, and since I moved I had been looking for a new aesthetician. She will not be it. She used a tongue depressor to hold my skin, not a gloved hand or even ask me to help. Waxing is painful enough that I don't need to have a popsicle stick jabbing in to my lady parts. Not a clean effective wax, a slow and tortured process and it made me wonder if she had done one before. Never again.

I never write reviews but after my experience at Epic I had to warn people. I bought the living social deal and decided to bring my mother along with me for a treat. She got a facial and waxing. Her experience was wonderful while on the other hand mine was horrible. I got my hair colored which has been a purply red for a couple months. I absolutely loved it and really only needed the roots touched up. I thought maybe I would try seeing if they could match the color or do something similar. Having been doing red for about a year on my own I knew that it might be difficult. But this is not entirely why i'm giving this review. The girl that did my hair seemed like she was right out of beauty school (her tattoo said she graduated in like '09). She was stumbling around, making awkward comments and couldn't keep a conversation going. While the owner and "manager" walked around the store complaining about different subjects. When I go into a salon I don't want to hear about your write ups by the health department or complaining about everyday life. I go to a salon to forget and relax. To top it off they dont use color block so I had huge stains all over and had to go back again the next day to help fix my hair which turned out all wrong. Also, her chair didn't match up to the sink and i had to hold my neck awkwardly (she even told me that her chair was uncomfortable). The owner didn't even stop by to give her advice to the 20 year old girl doing my hair or even greet me when I came in the second day. I left with exactly what I didn't want and ended up going to the beauty supply store spending another $60 to fix it myself.
