Gail Gibson is really thoughtful and friendly. She curates great shows that I consistently like. She has a specialty for photography (and some amazings work by world renowned artists, both past and present) however, that's not to diminsh the fine painters who show here. Most of all she's not just showing work from artists who are genuflecting their navels in their studios. The work Gail shows has substance. This gallery also embraces content that is embued in the handling of the medium.
The new location, next to On the Boards will hopefully work for the gallery. I like it.

As of Jan 16, 2017 I think they've only been open a month or two. Changed the exhibit once and it was completely different.
Staff (the two I've met) are VERY friendly and don't seem to mind if you just browse or ask questions. I think they have a lot of stuff in back somewhere, so don't be afraid to ask about anything. They seem quite knowledgeable.

I look forward to walking by every now and then just to see what's new.

Minus one star because I think they could manage to cram a little more in, yet it's still tastefully minimalist without being overly fussy.

Gail Gibson is the leader in contemporary and classic photography - and she has grown to include great contemporary painters, too!
