Our four year old enjoyed the interactive nature of the exhibits. The historic movie was vintage 'middle school 1987'. A nice 20-30 minute activity near Pioneer Square.

It's free, it's compact and it's very informative. Well worth a visit when you are in the area. Nothing fancy or hi tech .. just well laid out displays providing some interesting history of the gold rush era.

A fun, interactive visitor center that gives a great glimpse of Seattle during the gold rush. The staff are warm and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon I spent here.

I can't stress this enough: GO TO THIS MUSEUM! It's a national park in the middle of downtown Seattle, and it is incredibly fun and informative! Perfect for rainy afternoons!

A free experience-museum that allows you to learn all about the Gold Rush in Seattle. Very informative, and very well researched and preserved. Was a great way to learn a little bit more about Seattle, if you are into history, this place should be a quick stop! They even had a lot of authentic items you would find during the Gold Rush period, which made the experience even more cool. Would recommend to any history buffs.
