I moved to Seattle in 1986 and had the misfortune of trying a number of vets until I was referred to Admiral Vet around 1993. Since then I have had a number of dearly loved pet but only one vet. I affectionately call him "Dr. Death" b/c I wouldn't trust another vet to help me make the heart breaking decision of letting an anmial go when it is their time. I trust him implicitly to tell me when to let my friends go and when it is not the right time he tells me that too. Don has become more than a vet, he has become a dear friend who comes and comforts not only me but my best anminal friends when it is their time to go. With one dog "Wally" he took heroic steps to save this dog on Thanksgiving weekend. AND HE DID IT! Don is more than a vet, he is a friend and a part of my family. Oh yeah, and I always receive a beautifully written in-house created card when I am grieving the the loss of one of my friends. Priceless.
