Wonderful staff. We had to put our sweet, old dog down this weekend. Dr. Byrd made us feel heard and cared for, spending quality time with us, answering all of our questions (even repeat ones) about our dog's condition and our options. I'm very grateful to the staff for making this process as comfortable as possible for both us and our pup 💙

Came to Banfield because my pup started off with them before I got her and the Harvard location was nearby. Staff was initially kind, good communicators, informative, experienced...but as soon as they got to talking about their wellness plans, everything changed. At first it was just plain pushy...which is fine. But after declining a couple of times, each visit became more aggressive. There would be points where a needle was literally about to put in my pup and they would ask if I would like to sign up for regular preventative care...I'd ask to talk about it after procedures were performed but they would insist that I could not make the decision after care was administered. I finally caved into a wellness plan and at check out they nickle and dimed me with fees, and additional services that they highly recommend (they make you feel guilty about your pet if you don't sign up). And when I made a joke about their sales tactics, they got defensive immediately.

Hard sales should be saved for used car lots, pyramid scams or anything else that don't just sell themselves. Not pet health care.

This is the best value and excellent care for my dogs and they're open 7 days a week. Their follow-up care is awesome from the receptionist to the vet.

I cannot say enough great things about Banfield and their entire staff. We recently moved from PA with a puppy, so I was worried about changing to a new vet, but the experience could not have been better. Everyone there is always attentive, helpful, and polite. They always answer my questions and concerns and are willing to do anything to help. If you are looking for a new vet, go to Banfield! They are absolutely wonderful!

We can tell when we bring our pets here that this staff cares for them just as much as we do. They remember us all by name and provide all around great care. Definitely check out the wellness plans. With all the little things that come up, is great to know we can run or little guys up there anytime and not have to worry about all the costs for the office visit. It's definitely a better deal in the long run.
