The vet clinic that I have trusted to take my little golden retriever puppy too. So far, so good. Overall I'd say this place is a rather conservative when it comes to their prescription policy and generally give the owner options as to their treatment course. I liked it and I know a few other people in my circle of pet owning friends that also take their dogs to this vet.

Dr. Waller is incredible. I was seen immediately as my cat had crystals and his urinary tract was blocked. She called for surgical options, was there for me when it looked like I might have to put him down, and excited when my primary vet said there could be a viable second option.

Furthermore when I was leaving, she asked me to follow up because she wanted to know how Vinny was doing.

Last year my cat was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put down. I was blown away by how caring and thoughtful the vets and staff were at the Urban Animal Capitol Hill location. (When we called ahead, they set up a separate room for us to give us privacy, and allowed us to pay in the room before the procedure so we didn't have to go out into the lobby. They also sent us a condolences card later which was so sweet). I adopted another cat a few months later and was thrilled to see that they were opening a downtown location, which is closer to me. My experiences at this new location have also been great. I've been in twice and so far and the vets and staff are super friendly, we are always quick in and out, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I took my dog here once and had a good experience. Friendly staff, short waits, and good help for my dog's issue. Then, a few weeks later, my dog got bit at the dog park near his eye and was bleeding a bit. I took him in right after it happened, around 725. They were closed for appointments at that point, but when I explained what happened they got a tech to look at it, then a doctor to dye his eye to ensure there was no scratching or damage to it. They went out of their way to do all this even though I'd only been there once before, I wasn't a regular. I am certainly a regular now! They have earned my business, and I highly recommend Urban Animal!

I have a cat who requires immediate medical attention pretty often. My regular vet suggested this place to go for that purpose. I was glad I took that advice.

This place does not require appointment. You can just walk in with your pet when you need it. Service is fast, staffs are friendly and most importantly the doctors are knowledgeable and super patient.
