This place is a joke is right. There are a few nurses in Acute Care who really care about there patients, .....the rest of them are here strickly for a pay check and dont care one bit about the people who have come here for care. I feel so sorry for the patients here who cannot speak out... Its very disheartning and after awhile you ask why even bother its just not worth it.The food is most of the time Ok so far, there were two times i never got a breakfast or a dinner trey. I waited almost an hour and noticed people moving around and food trays being collected while i waited and waited . For five days in a row they sent me cheese burgers with one of the days cheese burger for lunch and dinner and when i call to request something else different, the kitchen staff came in my room while i had a family member visiting and didnt ask me what i wanted, but instead began arguing with me about how it was my fault i ended up getting cheese burgers for a week straight.My family member couldnt believe it and left and i had to finally ask the kitchen staff to get out of my room. Twice one of the techs came in to deliver my tray and dipping the corner edge of the tray down used it to shove everything on my desk off to the side knocking a cup of water onto my bed and just dropped the tray where ever it landed. Just after i first arrived, it was about 2am and i had to request a so called tech for a bedside urinal container, he came in went into the restroom and handed me a urinal container and so when i went to use it i ended up dumping urine on myself because he didnt bother to make sure it was empty or let alone rinse it out. I got upset and he insisted on telling me i should calm down and i said No im upset while sitting there now needing a shower badly he insisted on telling me that and i quote "this is a business and he got paid to do his job" I immediately stopped him and i was furious i said WRONG ANSWER this may be just a pay check for him but this is about my life and getting better so i can live. I told him to get the hell out of my room and he was no longer allowed to have anything to do with my care, and not to come back. Theres more and if the right people even give a part of concern theyll ask. I strongly advise anyone considering coming to this hospital for Acute Care or considering using this place to assist with a family member.....Dont do it...Ow yes one other thing the Doctors come to do rounds each day and dont even bother stopping in the room to talk to you most of the time they just look at you and move on and then charge your insurance $250.00 everytime they say the stopped while doing rounds. This place is a sham one big excuse after another, and no one will accept responsibillity before making some lame excuse its not there responsibillity and passing the buck on to say i need to speak to the other doctor.Its a Sham. I will never EVER come back here again and if i have anything to do with it will make sure my family never comes here and i will speak out about my experiance while here.I will not only post this on my website but seriously consider writing a story and posting the story for use on the United States Press and International Press website.

MY HUSBAND WAS AT PROMISE HOSPITAL AFTER ANEURYSM TO BRAIN. COULD NOT MOVE HIS LEFT SIDE AT ALL. SPEACH NEVER AFFECTED. THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND THEIR STAFF WERE TOP NOTCH. MY HUBAND WAS WALKING WITH ASSISANCE OF WALKER WHEN HE LEFT. I WILL ALWAYS HOLD THE PT DEPARTMENT IN HIGH REGARD. THE MEDICAL AND NURSING CARE WAS FAR ABOVE MY GREATEST EXPECTATIONS. I KNEW THAT THEY WOULD CARE FOR MY HUSBAND LIKE THEY WOULD THEIR FAMILY. IT ENABLED ME TO RETURN TO WORK BECAUSE I KNEW HE WOULD BE CARED FOR WHILE I WAS NOT THERE.
