We had the grilled shrimp skewers & etuffee. Both were wonderful. Service & server were excellent. Will come back when we’re in town.

We will never return to the crab shack on the board walk in Shreveport Louisiana.
The service was non existent. And the food was awful. Sadly the crab cakes were more like chicken salad with a lot of grease, slapped on the plate. The broccoli was obviously Reheated and old. The stuffed shrimp, wasn't stuffed at all. It was dried out and wrapped in burnt hard bacon. The popcorn shrimp for the kids was flavorless but the fries were OK. The waitress didn't even care to notice our dislike for the food and asked if we were ready for our ticket. Awful first experience for the kids at the boardwalk, first experience at Joe's.

Food was great but the atmosphere ruined my dining experience. There was a party of 10+ that was loud and disrupting the entire time. Manager did nothing but hide in the back. Should have atleast placed them outside or asked them to quiet down.

We haven't been impressed with this location in the past. It is the closest one to us (an hour away). It's probably been every bit of 5 years since we've been back. I will say, the food was great this time, and so was our waitress and the other employees we encountered. Everyone was so nice and on top of their game. We actually enjoyed it this time!

We had the grilled shrimp skewers, crab stuffed mushrooms, and clam chowder. Everything was delicious! I appreciate how they put the calories on the menu. It really helped us pick our choices. If you do things just right, you can have an amazing and filling meal for under 500 calories. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun!
