This is a lovely little corner of the Garland District for lite food and a drink or three. The pizza is simple in the best way - there is no need for extravagance when it comes to good crispy crust, melty cheese and a few flavorful toppings. Having a cider on tap (since I am NOT a beer drinker) won major points. The service is a bit slow until you realize the bartender, cook, busboy and cashier are all the same person. It's quiet compared to most Spokane bars, with a nice change to the typical music being played at a very reasonable volume - background noise that doen't drown out all conversation. I didn't get around to the pool tables - but I intend to come back!

Looks great now. Love the outdoor patio. Fantastic pizzas. Turn the volume down a notch. I don't want to yell over dinner.

Atmosphere is great if you like a log cabin feel. Food and drinks are good and the staff are really friendly.

The Brown Derby is one of the oldest bars in Spokane, if memory serves me right. It was in bad need of a makeover and got one! The interior looks really nice with lots of wood features and good lighting. Beer selections are great and constantly changing. Service is awesome and now there is a patio too.
