Accomplished Con Artists in Spokane Valley! BEWARE!

After an hour of xrays and shuffling around the office, they tried to sell me a cleaning gimmick worth about $3000 which, after they applied some "insurance discounts", would have set me back around $1300! Thirteen LARGE for a dental cleaning?!?! Thats something like $40 per tooth! When I pushed back a bit, Shenoa quickly shredded that document and prepared a new estimate which would have been just unter $500, all out of my pocket. When I pushed again and asked, doesn't my insurance cover some of this, she explained my policy offered NO CLEANING BENEFIT.

I left. I don't regret it - not one little bit. However, I feel sorry for someone less assertive who goes in there thinking folks are going to be honest and upfront because that is definitely NOT what they'll get here.
In checking their claim that I had no cleaning benefit, I learned not only does my policy offer cleaning but, they charged me the wrong co-pay for the initial visit!

It took an hour and a half to have x-rays and get "pitched." The room where they pitch their sales feels like a cheap used car sales office. I wasn't fooled by the giant foam tooth congratuating the manager, Brittany, on her increased profits! Having been in sales for longer than their office mamager trainee has been alive, I'd advise removing evidence of profit-driven goals from the scene of the crime, (c)rookies.

Since leaving Aspen, I've spent hours at home on the phone trying to change my "preferred" dentist and completing paperwork to have the xrays transferred to an office unrelated to Aspen. I have also tried, unsuccessfully, to reach a manager, other than the trainee who pitched me.

WOW! I'll never, ever, ever be back to their Spokane Valley, WA, location. WOnder if I'm stretching the truth or just caught them on an off day? You can see additional, specific to Spokane Valley, complaints posted by other patients at Yelp! I wish I'd seen those before I wasted an afternoon at Aspen Dental.

Very compassionate and understanding of my anxiety of going to the dentist. I broke my front tooth and called 8 other dentist offices to see if I could get it fixed asap because I work in retail. Aspen dental got me in the very next morning and did a wonderful job at matching my other teeth.

They were so friendly and helpful! I don't have insurance and they were able to work with a lending agency to get all of my dental work financed.

Aspen Dental in the Valley was AMAZING! They took care of me as if I was one of their own. I felt so comfortable in the chair and during my procedure. They have a wonderful staff! I WILL and have already recommended everyone over.

I actually enjoyed my first visit, like legitimately enjoyed it, had fun even. All of the staff were fun and happy people and they gave me full information on costs and options to move forward and sent me on my way! Bought an electric toothbrush from them on my way out, was not a pressured sale either! Love this place already!
