Katie is amazing! I’ve dealt with back pain (upper, lower, muscles and discs) for nearly a decade, with many different PT, chiro and massage therapist relationships over the years. They all provided momentary relief, but Katie is the first person that’s actually been able to IMPROVE my back. From the manual therapy in the office, to the coaching in proper stretching and targeted exercises, the progress is significant and encouraging! She is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, but also very humble - quick to explain, thorough, and genuinely wants to help you understand what’s going on in your body. If there is any part of your body that can’t move or hurts to move, then I highly recommend giving Katie a chance to help you fix it!

I love Katie! Not only is she very knowledgable, but she truly cared about my pain and concerns. I have a bulging disc in my upper back that I have dealt with forever. Katie was able to get all of my pain under control - and that was after a different PT gave up on me saying there was nothing they could do. One day I mentioned my jaw was hurting from my TMJ. I didn't even know she could help me with that. My jaw has clicked for years. This past year it has gotten so much worse. Not only does my jaw no long click, but I don't get headaches anymore from my jaw hurting. Katie is definitely worth checking out if you have any muscle pain.

As a fellow physical therapist I can say that whole heartedly recommend Dr. Katie Band and I would be happy to send any friend or family member to her as I know they will be in great hands. Katie's experience in triathlon and endurance training, yoga and dance coupled with her expertise in manual therapy and pelvic floor conditions make her an incredible value to both the PT world and her community. If you're in need of a great physical therapist, Katie is the best you can find in Spokane!
