Thankfully I am not anywhere near this church! I requested a Baptism record for my Great Uncle who was born in 1920 and died in 1929. The secretary was extremely rude and did not want to look for the record at all. She then questioned what did I want to do with the record. I told her it was for genealogical purposes and she still said no. It wasn't a good enough reason. That it would cause problems and due to HIPPA laws I couldn't request it even if I did have a copy of his death certificate. I am flabbergasted!!!! I have never ran into this problem with any other Catholic Church. Every other one I have called has been very helpful.

I love my Church!! Yea... the walls may be cracked, it's cold in the winter, hot in the summer.... but the Church family knows how to make all feel like their family :-D It's the way a Church is supposed to make you feel :-D
