Sunday afternoon, restaurant more than half empty. Food took forever and was OK at best. Waitress was nice and tried to make the best of it but as a local we will go elsewhere. Not worth the money.

Pros: food was decent, not great but decent. Enviroment was nice and relaxed.
Cons: prices a little high for just decent food and service was a bit on the slower side.
Note: it was not busy at all when we went, 2:30 in the afternoon, in between lunch and dinner rushes for most restaurants.

Seated promptly, excellent wait staff, well cooked dinners that came out quickly. The salads were excellent and main courses followed. We had a great experiencece. This is not our first visit. We chose Max's whenever we are in the area. This time for the big E. Nicely done.

Cozy place with good food. Not too noisy, a little dimly lit - maybe it was because there is a lot of dark wood. They have great salads. seafood chowder is a must get when its available.

Some of the best food and the greatest service we have ever had. Totally worth every bit of the money spent. Calm environment, very friendly service, as well as attentive. Nothing to like for, enjoyed our visit. Would recommend this place every day.
