The two agencies (Spruce St and 15th Street) are run by two brothers Elvis and Haris as of April 2016. My first rental was within days of their new operations. By my second rental a few months later, the kinks seem to have been smoothed out. Haris (based at Spruce Street) was quick to pick me up from the Amtrak station. I returned the car Sunday morning at the 15th Street station, a 3-minute walk to the Amtrak Gateway station. Five stars for convenience of location. The weekend schedule is sparse. Three stars because that required me to come in on an earlier train to be sure the agency was open.

As stated by others Elvis was very pleasant and tried to be accomodating. That being said I would never reserve a car from this location. I had reserved a car months in advance and when I called earlier in the day there was no car available for me. I was told that cars are rented on a first come, first serve basis. Unbelievable! In other words you are not guaranteed a car if you reserve one! I ended up getting a car only because one happened to be returned. It wasn't the size I ordered.

I took the Amtrak Train in from KC and this location is located right across the street so it makes it super easy to walk and grab a car. The manager there whose name is Elvis was a top notch customer service guru. He took care of everything that we needed and went above and beyond normal duties. I left my cell phone in the car and he mailed it back to me the next day even though he was super swamped. I HIGHLY recommend this budget because they will take great care of you. Thanks Elvis!! You rock!

I had a great experience working with Elvis. The businesses is recently under new management, they are educated and considerate. I was at a professional conference staying at the Union Station doubletree, they dropped me off at the hotel despite being very very busy . There are having some problems with their telephone service but that will be worked out soon. -Dickson from Seattle
