The food was great and fast.

Food is nothing fancy, but I don't think they pretend to be anything other than a casual place for familiar dishes you might make at home. They do bring out a nice basket of bread before the meal arrives, and the people are always very friendly there. It's a good place to go if you are with a group that has young children or people who don't have adventurous palates, since they serve common, familiar dishes which have general appeal.

One of my favorite restaurants in Stowe. The menu has a good variety of items, but I recommend the burgers. Each meal comes with a basket with thick slices of two different breads, fresh from the oven. The patrons are a mix of locals and frequent visitors. If you love dogs, the places is wall-to-wall dog decorations. If you're visiting on the weekend, call ahead for reservations!

We dropped by Gracie's for dessert because after reading the reviews, decided it was a nice way to cap off a great day in Stowe. They had two specials on the dessert menu, so we grabbed both. The first was a pear cobbler with ice cream, and the second was a Pumpkin Cheesecake. We LOVED BOTH. This place was PACKED, and still the host and bartenders were quick to say hello and check in with us throughout our quick meal.
Do not visit Stowe without hopping into Gracie's. We'll be back next time we're in town.

23 bucks for Salmon that was cold and 16 for pulled pork that was too wet and not pulled. Best dish was my kids grilled cheese with fries. Side dishes were hit and miss; rice was great, cole slaw was great, mashers were too fine, almost like they took a dry flakes from a box and added water. Atmosphere was nice and staff was friendly, would go back for sides and easier dishes if they weren't so expensive.
