Dr. Howard Alexander DDS

I'm a student and went to Dr. Alexander. I didn't have dental insurance. I was told I would need a $1000 procedure that I was later told was unnecessary by another dentist, and which another dentist told me should have cost half that even if I did need it. Dr. Alexander would not work with me on the price and gave me a brochure for some payment plan company that rejected me (my credit is good enough that I have been able to finance a car, have two credit cards and never been turned down for an apartment, so I don't know what exactly they rejected me for). Dr. Alexander's office completely didn't care. They were not willing to work with me at all and cancelled my appointments when I told them I couldn't afford to pay $1000. Maybe for people with tons of money or great insurance he's fine, but avoid him if you're a student or don't have gobs of money to shell out. They also have a huge poster in their office that says "Smile Like the Stars" and shows celebrities with veneers and encourages patients to get veneers, so I probably should have known that Dr. Alexander's practice would be money-focused instead of patient/care-focused.
