Terrible customer service from the receptionist. Hygienist was really nice. Was there for fillings and the dentist gave me a shot for anesthesia in the wrong part of my mouth, pinching a nerve and leaving that side of my face swollen for a week. One of the only places that accepts Medicaid/United healthcare...terrible.

On nov8 I had a dentist appointment as I'm sitting in the waiting room to be called there was a patient being refused from a manager that was on duty that day the patient didn't know any English as he ask one of the employees that was working that day for help with Translate due to she new two Language the lady was gladly to help him Unfortunately the manager refused her from helping him so the patient came to me for help mind u I'm waiting to be called to as I go to help him the manager ask him to fill a paper so I could be able to help with translate I ask her why isn't the lady working in the desk couldn't help him if she spoke both languages the manager respond no employees are allowed to help no patient I felt discriminate because how about if I didn't know any English she do the same to me that was unprofessional and rude so I get called to the room to be seen as I'm sitting in the chair to get xray done the manager came back to the room and took me out of the chair to go help the patient I got up and said I'm not here to translate you have a employees that speaks Spanish that she can help she kept telling me she not allowed to help him so she ask her to leave the front desk so she wouldn't be able to help him I look at her and said that not right that being racists as I'm watching the patient been Insulted by the manager and getting kicked out of the clinic for no reason only cause he wanted help from a employees something should be done anybody see that kind of action no one would want to be a patient to this clinic that manager on duty should not be working in a clinic at all because if a patient need help and there are employees that are able to help there should be no excuse for that

I am not a patient at this office, but my brother in law is and his personal experience was horrible, as he was sitting in their waiting room waiting to be seen he encountered an unprofessional incident that was handled inappropriately by their office manager. Being from the same culture as the patient that was being treated unfairly my brother in law felt discriminated against and uncomfortable as the situation escalated because the office manager would not provide an interpreter for the patient and then proceeded to open the door and tell them to get out. He himself tried to translate for the patient(that was not understanding why was he being treated this way) but the office manager did not allow him too. If you are from the Hispanic culture or any culture that's not American please do not go to this office, they are racist. Unfortunately for my brother in law he is stuck at westside dental because of his insurance.

I'd give zero stars if that was an option. I brought my 2 young boys (under 5) for their cleaning. We sat in the small, crowded, and grimy waiting room for over an hour and still hadn't been seen. When I asked when we might be called in, the receptionist told me there were still several people ahead of us, and she couldn't estimate how much longer we'd be waiting. She also told us that "they make us schedule appointments this way" - basically that their policy is to double book appointment slots. Completely unprofessional, lack of respect for patients.
Also, the facility is dingy at best, gross old toys in waiting room that look like they're never cleaned. And a single rest room with a paper thin door (and no paper towels) is located right off the waiting room, which is pretty gross.
The hygienist that cleaned my boys teeth on the first visit was kind and professional, and the dentist who checked on them was also kind, but rushed and uninterested.
The only reason I chose this clinic for my boys was that is is one of ONLY 2 dentists who accept their Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield Child Health Plus dental insurance. Never again. I'd rather pay retail for their dental care than be treated like our time isn't valuable (and kept in the gross waiting room too).

Friendly atmosphere. The dentist was very thorough and explained everything well as well as answered all questions and concerns. I would be happy to come back again
