Had one of my better experiences at Grimaldi's. Sam is an excellent wait person. If you can get him, you're in for a great evening. Had a custom Delmonico steak. Asked for blackening/Cajun and got that I asked for. I really love spicy but I got the requisite "spicy" restaurant Delmonico. It was very good but could have been a lot spicier. The Delmonico was tasty and a well marbled steak with a touch of blackening. Sam was extremely attentive and I never ran short of anything. The scary part was that it seemed he was reading my mind at times. He was that attuned. I'll be back again and if you try Grimaldi's hopefully you'll have as good a dinner as I had tonight.

This is the place to eat in this hotel zone. Wonderful service. The food is simply fantastic. I had the veal tonight and it was very tender and juicy.
Get out of your hotel and eat st this restaurant. Great Italian food.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Service was exceptional, Chris, our server was awesome, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, authentic east coast Italian. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great service from friendly people. I had the lasagna and it was perfect. Not to hot where you had to either burn your mouth eating it or let it sit and cool off. Great flavor and perfect portions. I suggest the Syracuse pale ale for the beer lovers. I would definitely go back

SUMMARY: Glorious. Will be going again the day after the first time here. Huge portions, full-flavored dishes, generous courses provided along with the meal, engaging and entertaining staff, and an atmospheric mood set just right.
DETAILS:
Came here with a family member on a Friday night. Tim was wait staff. Had the sausage-and-pepper appetizer (very flavorful, not spicy-hot, but spicy-complex in taste, and a delightful crunch on the grilled outside), bowls of the chicken soup (like a quality Italian Wedding soup but with chicken vs. meatballs), the haddock-fry Friday special (absolutely huge - didn't fit the plate; not greasy), and the halibut feature (complex lemon-butter sauce with capers, plus cheesy risotto and grilled veggies).
Supped on 2 loaves of bread with garlic Parmesan butter before the main meal and ate a bit of the massive mound of banana cotton candy served courtesy of the establishment for dessert.
Tim was knowledgeable, entertaining, patient, and attentive, even when a full college lacrosse team arrived to dine. The atmosphere was chill - soft lighting, unassuming features, and casual conversation filled the full tables of happy diners.
Will be going again. And again. And would encourage you to go, too.
