I'm not much of a fan...to me their sauces are too acidic. But my husband loves their pizza!!

This place is a total dump. At first things started okay the place is very average when I got my entree which was the fettuccine Alfredo it looked less than appetizing, but hey I was there so I started eating. My second bite my throat started feeling itchy. So I told the waitress that I was worried that there might have been some cross contamination with seafood and that I was highly allergic, they said they couldn't help me. Such poor service they didn't offer to switch out my food or anything. Would never spend another dime at that place. I saw that they were going out of business and they should def close the doors on this place.

Excellent food, huge quantities, poor, slow service when they're busy and typical of businesses in urban neighborhoods BAD ATTITUDE. While waiting for a table my son ordered a soda up front from take-out area, and once we got the table and the waitress saw he already had a drink, she got upset and said that he couldn't drink it at the table! We bought the soda IN THEIR RESTAURANT. She said the takeout and sit down areas of the business had separate cash registers and prices and I guess we should have just known that! Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode, Soup Nazi! Remember Luigi's: for every customer who complains there's a hundred others who say nothing but just never come back!

I would have given them a lower rating if at all possible. It all started when my friend and I walked in and were asked if we were ordering to go or eating in. So I told her we wanted to eat in, she took my order and I paid her for the Chicken Alfredo. My friend and I proceeded to sit down, relax and wait to enjoy the food. The waitress came to our table and asked what we wanted to eat and we told her we ordered in the front. She said ok and asked what we wanted to drink, took our menus and went to the kitchen. A few minutes later a woman who appeared to might be the owner came out and asked us why we were sitting in the restaurant. I told her that when we came in I told the young lady that we were eating in, she asked what we wanted and then I paid. She started telling us we couldn't sit there because we ordered in the front and they charge two different prices for ordering to go and eating in. I proceeded to tell her that the young lady out front let us order there and she said in a very nasty tone, "we'll she shouldn't have done that. We don't do that here. You're going to have to take it to go because you ordered it out front." The woman started to walk away and the waitress apologized because of how embarrassed she was. Instead of causing a scene we agreed to go to the front and wait for the food. To make matters worse, while we were sitting there we heard the woman and the young lady talking about us not paying, which we most certainly did. Once the food came out, we got up, grabbed the food, the woman asked if we had paid, I told her we definitely did and I walked out. The worse part was that the Chicken Alfredo was average at best. I've had better Chicken Alfredo from chain restaurants that aren't even run by Italians, and it was cheaper. My meal was supposed to come with 2 garlic knots, instead I received 2 dry pieces of plain bread in a zipper bag. If you're looking for a nice Italian restaurant, this is not the place. The owner should be ashamed of herself and I hope Luigi's finds someone to replace her, someone who knows something about customer service. I wouldn't recommend this to my worse enemy.

The first time I went there for a take out meal, resulted in a delicious, but expensive serving of pasta. Expensive? For a side order, but worth every penny. A vegetarian here, I had an event to attend that did not serve dinner, so I stopped on my way home. The pasta is probably enough to serve me 3 dinners. The marinara sauce is worth writing about. I feel Luigi's should remain open, so I'll patronize this place regularly. 3 dinners makes the pasta rather inexpensive, I eat like a bird. LOL
