Was wanting seafood and they did a good job with that, service was also good but they weren't busy. The place is in bad need of a FULL remodel. Musty smell, showing its age everywhere.

After several years of mediocrity and giving up on it I gave it a try. I'm happy to say it is back! Good seafood and a fair price.

The quality of the food here has drastically decreased over the years. The fried fish are now bland crisps of oily batter, the spaghetti they served when I was a kid doesn't have as much sauce as it used to, the oysters are semi-frozen and no longer worth getting. And they're so overpriced, too. The place had always been dim and very uninviting, even more so today. The only thing my siblings and I enjoyed seeing when we were still kids were the clownfish living in their fish tank.
Barnacle Bill's isn't doing so well anymore. I think it's best for this restaurant to be put out of its misery.

My husband and I loved this place!!! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was laid back and friendly. I kept thinking that it was the kind of place that you'd find on the beach. Nothing fancy or touristy but THE place where the locals went for the best food and to enjoy friends. And if you're a Bloody Mary fan, they make the best ever!!

New in town, this name caught my eye as a place to try. We went early on a week night and had no trouble with service at all - the waitress was very attentive and answered questions we had about the menu very knowledgeably. They were out of the slider buns so they just made me a regular fish sandwich was was fine. Both dinners were served promptly with all the right sides. The atmosphere was fairly quiet but it was more of a bar-type place that had tables that a restaurant in the true sense of the word. I could see when the students are around or later at night that the place might have a very different vibe.
