Had a midsize car RESERVED. Upon arrival I was told they did not have my car. I was told I could upgrade AT FULL PRICE or go to another rental agency. Rude. Unhelpful. I will NEVER use thrifty again. POS.

If I could give this place a zero I would.. it literally took 45 mins to check in and get keys to a car. I had to asked the girls in budget and hertz if there is someone that worked in Thifty that was in the back.. when the girl finally came out from the back she said that were an hr late and that our car was gone.. ok anything similar is fine.. come back to return my car only to find out that my $40 aday rental had been changed to $75 a day.. and charged $200 more., when asked the manager he didn’t answer and said he was going to check the car and never came back.. customer care did however fix and refund a portion of my money and “sent me a gift card” that never came...the find out we were charged tolls when tolls in Florida were suspended for the whole month due to the hurricane.. my 1st and last going with this company..

Arrive with a reservation at 8 for a full size and no full size ready. What's the since in having a reservation if they don't have your reservation ready. Worst ever when you're on a time schedule. Will NOT rent from them EVER again!

I paid $17 a day for the rental car and $25 in fees and additional $11 a day to park. No one tells you that you are going to park your car a half mile away and there is no one to help you to get the car or to get to your car. I wanted to turn it in 12 hours early and was told they would fine me $25 for early drop off and no, they do not have a drop box the Thrifty rep tells me, so I get a motel room and did not have money for this. Only to learn that YES, they do in fact have a drop box. They have two of them. I thought I was getting a cheap rate and wound up paying more for it in the long run and a hell of a lot more worry than I paid for. If you want to go with Tallahassee, FL airport Thrifty, just throw your money out the window and save yourself the misery. (Unless you enjoy long walks in over 100 degree weather and extraordinarily awful customer support).

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because they had the cheapest prices in town, otherwise it would of gotten 0. While having the best prices in town is a major plus, it really doesn't matter if you're unable to get a car. I made a reservation 24hrs in advance to hold a car for me and the confirmation says that the reservation will be honored 6hra from the pick up time. Schedules pick up for 9am got there at 1pm on my lunch break. They had no cars to give me and the receptionist at the counter told me that even if I would have gotten there at 9am I still would of had to wait in the lobby for an hour and a half to get a car. It makes no sense to make a reservation because the computer doesn't account for the vehicles in the local office that have been picked up is what the manager in the corporate office told me. So pretty much I ended up not having a car because they sold them lol even though I reserved it and there was nothing anyone in the office could do but say sorry.
