We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this practice and Dr. Montalvo and the whole staff. Our 10 year old son doesn't like to brush as often as he should so he had some excess plaque, which they so gently removed. When it came time to floss, the hygienist told him, "Ok, Mr. 'Ow" we are going to say 'ow' together." Each time she put the floss between some teeth, she would say, "Ow, ow, ow!" Then she said, "Com on, I can't hear you, where is your 'owe?'" Our son was cracking up so much (as was I) that he only remembers have a great time at the dentist. Thank you , thank you, thank you!!!
Again, we LOVE, LOVE Dr. Montalvo and everyone in his practice. Our youngest was seen yesterday and she started going to Dr. Montalvo at 4 years old (is now 9). She loved it so much then and she continues to say to this day that she is going to grow up and be a dentist just like Dr. Montalvo. She says all the time, "He has the coolest job ever and I could go there every week, I love it so much!" Thank you for inspiring our young dentist to be!

Dec 3, 2010. My friend Carl who is a patient here calls Dr. Ralph Montalvo at Advanced. He explains to him that I am in great Pain, due to some crown problems. My dentist at Coast Dental called in a prescription after seeing me, and then scheduled me to see some other endodontist over a week away. A WHOLE week on absolute PAIN. After the phone call into Dr. Montalvo, he agreed to look at me on this Friday evening, even after he and his assistants were off. He agreed that I indeed did need a root canal, but waiting was no option. He and his wonderful assistant Erin, (who volunteered off duty) stayed and did a complete root canal and my pain is GONE!!!! Complete courtesy, and professionalism is all I can say. God bless Dr. Montalvo, Erin and that whole staff.
