I have been a patient of Dr. Lumpp for more than 10 years. We began with complete dental implants that continue to work incredibly well. The entire staff is highly professional and courteous. Dr. Lumpp is an outstanding dentist. I am humbly thankful for her outstanding work.

I went to see Dr. Lumpp a few months back, before leaving for a project in Alaska. I went in for a dental cleaning, and to ask about a filling that had started to deteriorate, and whether or not I could have it fixed that day, or within the next 48 hours. After having x-rays, and an hour and a half long tooth cleaning that was apparently centered around how many pints of blood I could lose through having my gums picked and cut with various dental tools, Dr Lumpp decided that I needed a root canal immediately, or I would run the risk of blood poisoning and an abscessed tooth. She also determined that I had about 8 other cavities, and would need those filled as well. While I was not having any pain, and did not have the time or means to get to another dentist in the area before I left, I decided against coming back for a root canal, and left without it being treated.
Upon returning from my trip to Alaska, I went to a dentist at home, and explained my experience at Dr. Lumpp's, and what she had suggested. My dentist took another set of x-rays, and examined the tooth in question before deciding that there was very minimal amounts of decay, and that instead of needing a root canal, I would just need the filling to be replaced. On top of that, my dentist could not find any traces of the ''eight other cavities'' that Dr. Lumpp had discovered. Needless to say, the experience I had at home was much, much better and seemingly more professional than the one that I had in Dr. Lumpp's office. I paid less than 1/5 of the cost I would have had to pay at Dr. Lumpp's for the filling and was in and out of the office in a little over a half an hour, with no pain (or excessive bleeding).
Long story short, I would never, ever consider returning to her office, or recommending anyone to her for any sort of dental work, whatsoever. Dr. Lumpp spent more time causing grief than she did helping me with a 30 minute procedure, and tried to rope me back in for work that would have been unnecessary.
