I cannot recommend AUI. I was scheduled for a prostate biopsy and was informed that they would prescribe antibiotics several days before the procedure to reduce the risk of an infection. They never prescribed the antibiotic. I called about this two days before the biopsy and they said they would have a nurse call me. They didn't call. One day before the procedure, I called again and the antibiotic was never prescribed despite several attempted calls on my part. At that point, I canceled the biopsy. I received a call back from a nurse on the evening before the procedure informing me of the time of the procedure the next day. I informed them that I had canceled the appointment. I then received another call from another nurse also informing me of the time of the biopsy the next day. I again explained that I had canceled the procedure. The left hand definitely does not know what the right hand is doing at this clinic. I finally asked that the physician send a referral to the urology clinic at the University of Florida. Despite several calls on my part to check on this, the referral was never sent. I gave up and had my primary care physician make the referral for me. Do not go to this clinic. Bad service and patient care. I was disgusted with the whole process.

Two and a half hours past my scheduled appointment time before I was brought back to further wait. This is place works to herd patients through. The first greeting from the girl at the counter "how would you like to pay? ". I'll ask to be referred somewhere else next time.

Poorly managed healthcare
This rating is mostly for the surgery center but the two are aligned. Although the doctor is caring everyone else clearly doesn't care about the patients. Do not expect follow-up immediately after procedure and expected to be treated like assembly line patient.

I've been going a month and a half and they still don't have my medical records from my last place. I only found out about this when I was given incorrect medication we had already tried at my last specialist. After a week of calling back and forth playing babysitter, the records are finally on their way but not in time for my appointment. I had to reschedule my early August appointment to their next first available which is mid-October. So now I have to call back every day to see if there's an appointment that's sooner. The admin department should be paying me at this point. :P

I love this place. The staff there are excellent and Always do whats best for the patient. I Personally LOVE Dr Bradford. He is an excellent urologist with expert bedside manners. I think that some peoples reviews are too harsh. You all have to keep in mind that this is a SPECIALIST office that has 9 DRS , 2 PA'S and 1 ARNP who are dedicated to caring for people from Urinary incontinence to prostate and bladder cancer. Personally its distasteful to ridicule such a distinguished facility. Jessica who works in referrals and appointment is so kind and helpful and you can really tell she loves her Job! I highly recommend.
