I am extremely unhappy with Florida KidCare after 6 months. Three pediatric offices that initially accepted this insurance, no longer do. Apparently, this insurance is not one that physicians accept long-term. It's worth paying more and having my child covered by my employer. My child currently is not assigned to a pediatrician because the doctors who do accept this insurance are in high crime parts of Jacksonville. I'm on the full payment policy, but it's as though my child has Medicaid.
