This church and fellowship hall may be in the hustle bustle area of Hyde Park but there is ample parking even if you show up at the last second! My suggestion, even though Google maps brings you efficiently and easily directly to the address on Platt, go one block over and enter off of Azeele St. Where there is tons of parking that is CLEARLY marked with easy access.

hi every one this cindy I usta come there about two weeks ago for a year miss u all let the kitchen crew that im in Clearwater to stay im doing good I want u to tell the people that come on sunday morning I left tampa with out telling any one tell them im doing good im at a nice place here they help people get on there feet god bless u all ps tell the people this sunday thank you

Incredible people. Very easy to connect and feel comfortable with what you want to learn/ explore with your religion and faith at a Church. Beyond the variety of services, they have a tremendous amount of children's ministry, youth ministry and adult ministry programs. Because of the strong community, there are also plenty of volunteer/ outreach opportunities as well.

I attended HPUMC sporadically for several years and really appreciated the open, warm, inviting atmosphere. I have also been very impressed with the work this church is doing for the members of our broader community in Tampa and beyond. From feeding the homeless on church grounds to organizing mission trips abroad (and dozens of outreach programs in between) this church is truly living up to the Christian ideals it espouses. My wife and I recently made the decision to join as a family and we are looking forward to being a part of this great organization.
