When I called the Tampa Bay Fun Boat Company, I was greeted by Shannon who was super nice in helping me arrange to get 21 senior ladies on the taxi. She was more than accommodating in answering all my questions to ensure it was handicap accessible and very safe for the ladies.
Once we reached the dock, the Captain and his deckhand were very helpful in assisting all the ladies on the boat. They both were very knowledgeable about the history of Tampa, Davis Island, the University if Tampa, etc. They made the trip very interesting. In addition, the weather cooperated with us as well that day and made our experience on the water taxi fantastic .
I highly recommend theTampa Fun Boat water taxi.

Great boat great times and great prices! I am not a big fan of going out on boats but I was talked into taking this trip with Captain Darryl and I'm so glad I did. You can tell this captain and crew know what they're doing. This was just a regular sightseeing boat trip along Tampa Bay not the dolphin sightseeing tour but we saw Dolphins anyway about 5 minutes into our trip. They followed us for a good while. I've seen them from the bridge of course while driving but there's nothing like seeing them right next to you. There was a whole pod of them right there. Everybody was offered complimentary drinks and snacks and if you want to bring your own 'refreshments' that is permitted as well. You can probably put about 20-30 people on that boat no problem. I'm told they do corporate events and sunset cruises as well. Highly recommended!

It is spectacular! If you're on a family trip this is perfect. The rates are decent, it is 10$ for adults and 5$ for children, there's also a military discount available for those that are or know someone that is in the military. The ride is about 45 minutes but, the captain is so cool!!! If there's wildlife out there like dolphins in my case he doesn't mind prolonging the trip just a bit so we can take a good look and enjoy. It was great we were able to see a large pod of dolphins and the captain got up close so we could have a better look, there were also some sea lions among them and it was just perfect. I would definitely recommend the Tampa Bay Fun Boat to everyone who's in Tampa, FL or planning a trip there, you won't be disappointed!!

My family and I had an awesome adventure for Mother's Day on the Tampa Bay Fun Boat. On the cruise was myself, my wife, and our three kids: our girls aged 2 & 3 and our son who is 8 months. The boat was very clean. The Captain and crew were very hospitable. We saw dolphins in 2 separate areas. They were very knowledgeable about the history and the area. Would highly recommend this adventure to everyone.
