all the nurses stand around watching different patients instead of helping the ones in need. no doctors check up on you, especially when you are the one in need of care the most. they don't take the patients decision into consideration. they bring the government into situations instead of getting consent from the wife/husband before making a decision. this is one of the worst hospitals.

Billed $12,199.75 by three parties for an unhelpful cat scan and no diagnosis whatsoever. A terrible ER that should never be visited staffed by unskilled "doctors." Had to go to a real hospital a few weeks later to get a real diagnosis and have surgery.

I can understand being busy with actual severe cases, but the staff just seemed... rude at the ER. While my issue didn't turn out to be an emergency, hearing the nurses loudly saying "she can sit and wait a while" in a derogatory tone doesn't help my willingness to go to the hospital when I think it's a severe issue.
I've been to the ER three times in my life, with 8-11 years between each one.
The doctors did, however, get the issue taken care of with recommendations for follow-up.

The only reason I’m giving them one star is because zero was not an option. The people who work here have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing. They are very inconsiderate of their patients personal belongings and lost my boyfriends fit bit and my best friends earring which has a large amount of sentimental value to it. Not to mention they made her sleep in a hallway. I would rather bleed out on my way to union before I went to regional.

If I got in a car accident, on 7th street right in front of Regional or got mauled by a bear and my heart was hanging out of my chest I would make the ambulance take me to Union or even to Indianapolis. Regional staff is unprofessional, they treat their patients like trash, and like everyone is drug addicts. You sit there for 5 hours waiting in the ER when you finally get a room you got to wait another 2-3 hours. They then try to give me tramadol which I'm allergic to and if they would have asked me about my current meds they would have known. After I refused the tramadol the doc had nurse to bring me a naproxen, again if they would have done their jobs properly they would have asked what meds I have taken because I get prescription strength naproxen and I had taken some for the pain 2 hours before I went to the ER. You're only supposed to take on a day. So I refused that drug and they just sent me home in pain and did nothing. It was a waste of my valuable time. So I left there and went union, they gave me a boot as it turned I had fractured my foot. This is just one example of how Regional staff doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
