We arrived at Boss Hawgs and the server didn't even look like he was the server(no uniform or name tag). It took him about 10 minutes to greet us and then another 10 just to get our drinks. After staring at our menus, he then informs us that they are out of ribs! The one thing that we wanted. We finally ordered and he brought me the wrong side with my meal, and brought us unsweetened tea (we ordered sweet). He was the only server working that side of the restaurant and the other side (bar side) was loud and the waitresses only seemed concerned with the latest gossip. I gave this establishment 2 stars because the brisket was good but everything else sucked.
Oh and our server wore too much cologne.

I have spent over 300$ at this place over all , i use to call it my spot..
but since they changed staff things have changed in a not so good way.
Bartenders are cool. but there bouncers have no clue how to identify a trouble customer.
before tonight the last time i was there a fight broke out and a guy had thrown a chair and was pinned by security.. after being assaulted by the staff. EYE whiteness on this. ME.
tonight . i went there to have a few drinks , i had 3 beers, payed for one of the waitresses to have a scooby snack , my friend who was extremely drunk was talking about driving home..
so i asked a waitress for some crackers, for him. when i went to find my friend i had found he had already split.. . so i approached the waitress again to inform her to never mind the crackers,, she Jumped startled. i told her " Don't worry i don't bight unless You want me to "
Yes i had a good buzz. but was respectful .. or so i thought. ..
i noticed a young wight man with tattoos on his arms i think he is a cook, staring me down with a lets fight sort of look. , at 1st i did not know if he was looking at me or someone else.
so i approached him, and asked if there was a problem, Respectfully and peacefully.
He informed me that i was being extremely disrespectful and in a threatening tone told me to never disrespect the waitress again. .. i quickly and humbly apologized as that was not my intent., i meant no disrespect. i went to shake his hand and he refused to shake hands and told me to go to the other side of the bar before there was a problem.
He was Drunk .. You could smell it and see it .. so i complied, and asked the waitress if she knew him she sed he was her friend and worked there. .
Now. i understand i can be intimidating . i am 6ft4" 245, lbs and in shape. but i am not one to pick a fight or want to harm anyone. "Be the change You wish to see in the world"
but attempting to intimidate me is allot like trying to intimidate the ussr. it don't work.
i kept my cool, and went to the other side of the bar watched the tv and was awaiting my turn at the mic as it was Karokie night. .
then a Larger Hispanic looking gentleman approached me and asked me to leave .
i asked a simple question.. What did i do ? he was unable to tell me, all he sed is i was scaring people... now i am peaceful and non violent. and was even considering putting in an application to work as a cook. so why would i try to be intimidating. ?
i apoligised and explained my situation. from my friend driving drunk and my concerns, to the younger wight gentleman with tattooed arms acting as if he wanted trouble. i told him my name offered my hand and told him i am only looking for friends not trouble.
but was still forced to leave. on my way out there was about 6 or 7 people looking like they wanted to fight. ..
i will never go back to that place. nor will recommend there dry ribs., .. O yes. there ribs are dry. the bone will not twist out of the meat. !. FYI.
so .. all and all. they lost a great customer and possible employ. all in 1 night. .
i also plan to conotact the owner in regards to this matter.
and if i was rude due to me being drunk or buzzed.. the staff should have been professional and had no trouble handling me .. shoot me down.. i can crash and burn no problem .
but they seem to want to fight..
the male staff is looking for trouble. so if your a guy and new to the area.. this is not a friendly place to try and make friends. best be packing !. as they come at you 5 +. heads.
and for no real resin at all.

Wonderful PORK BBQ SLIDERS! Would have been happier, if they would have offered ribs. Turns out I got there too late, they only could sell off an appetizer menu. Sherry, server was friendly, & quick service. Tried Margarita. A bit sour. Over all. I'd return in a heartbeat!

This is the perfect night time spot to relax plus they will stay open till 2 am on the week days but the kitchen will close at 11

Worst bbq ever.. Service for only being 10 people in there very below avg. A one meat reg sandwich and a two meat large sandwich look the same... I've had better road kill. I will never step a foot inside this dump again...
