Only one star because that is the worst experience that I have ever had. The car wasn't ready. Day later it was dirty. Used it for less than two hours for a test drive and got a three day hold on my card. Called about the hold and got a supervisor, Krystal, who was rude smart ass who kept interrupting me after she had asked me to let her talk, I did, when I tried to talk she constantly interjected rude comments and got huffy when I asked her for the same consideration. Don't use this company's service.

After two attempts to book a reservation, someone actually answered the phone only to put me on a brief hold. I eventually tired of waiting and had to hang up. The customer service is non-existent. I wish you better luck than I.

These guys messed up on my rental and typed estimates 80 miles instead of 800 miles from Tucson, AZ to Merced, CA so when I brought the car to be dropped in merced my bill went from $97 to $500. I call them and they say to call customer service. When I called customer service they pretty much said to go to hell. Even though the dude that rented to me openly admits to his mistake. Who in their right mind would estimate california (any part of it) from Tucson is only 80 miles. Avis are crooks!

My wife and I have been spending the last six years in Tucson for the month of March. We have chosen, on the advice of friends who have rented from this location, to pick up our car from an "off the airport" site located in the Sears Tire Store on Broadway. The service has been outstanding and we worried this year, because of a change in management, that might change. On the contrary, both by phone and at the time of the rental the staff could not have been nicer. I dealt with Julio for the most part, but the rest of the personel were great as well. We look forward to returning next year. Because of our positive experience this year, it will be a call to Julio and his staff when we consider a car rental.
