I worked with Stuart Lippman and Associates for several years. They have always displayed professionalism and dedication to helping people settle outstanding debts, and helping to promote financial responsibility. They thoroughly train and re-train all of their employees in FDCPA, and other laws, rules, and regulations. A great place to work that is owned and operated by people who care.

They are unwilling to work with accounts that are under $250.00 because there is no profit in it. It was loud and clear by their Rep Bill Moser. It is not about the total, it's about the name of person that is on records for refusing to pay bills regardless of amount. After so many years of working with these folks a new rep has the nerve to call me and says if account is under $250 he can't work with it. (edit 8/8/17)

They sent me a letter in the mail stating I owed $5,800 for a car accident my mother had in my car. They were not willing to work with us in lowering the down payment. They wanted $2,500, which my family cannot come up with in a months time. So both my license and my mothers were suspended. The car accident occurred 7 months before we even got notice of the fact that we owed any money. They do not pick up the phone when one calls to try to pay off the balance. They are rude and will not let my mother or I speak when we call.

I received a letter in the mail from Stuart-Lippman and associates INC stating that I owe 4,883.38 from an accident that I was not even involved with! the letter states "State Farm Mutual Ins Co has referred this claim to Stuart-Lippman and Associates Inc. Based on a review of all the documentation, State Farm Mutual Auto Ins Co believes that you are responsible for the claim" and blah blah blah. I am a member of State Farm but this was not me! how did they get my name? and my address? I have never been in an accident nor have I ever owned a blue Dodge Caravan or a Chevy of any sorts! When I called and told them it wasn't me he just told me to disregard the letter.....that seemed a little odd to me and makes me really uncomfortable and to see that others have gone through it too makes me worry more!

these people are rude. they told my bf they would have his license suspended for a car accident that was not his fault. State Farm hired this company to collect from him because he was in an accident with their insured. my bf filed a claim on his own behalf and was denied. instead they paid their customer for property damage because he lied on my bf. so since they couldn't get nothing from insurance, they go after my bf for $1600 without a judgement or proof that it was actually his fault. just somebodies word. seems a bit backwards to me. If they want peoples cooperation, threatening them and calling them criminals for mistakes they make is not the way to go about it.
