I'd like to give it more stars and maybe I should based on the great service. But the food was standard. Nothing special. I'm told the tamales are to die for but I don't like tamales so that's a no issue for me. The staff was amazing. The location is very convenient. I would go again if I wanted a quick lunch due to those factors. Maybe I'll try something else next time and see if I can get a better feel for the food.

Such a cute place, great staff, pleasant decor and long history. I wanted to love it and I did. Everything but the food. What disappointed me most was the salsa, as it was made from canned tomatoes. Our burro was just okay. But the service and the homey vibe of the place were great.

Great chicken chimi! Very friendly owner and staff. We love this home town restaurant! We will miss them when Broadway Blvd is widened.

Homey restaurant with wonderful portions. Very good enchiladas. Back wall is covered in cute paper placemats that have been doodled on. It's a simple one room place but seats a fair amount of people! Great service and super friendly.
